COVID-19: 3,403 new cases reported in past 24 hours

Kathmandu- A total of 3,403 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The new cases were confirmed from 11,839 RT-PCR and 4,999 antigen tests conducted in various laboratories across the country. This takes the COVID-19 caseload in the country to 739,907 till date. 

Similarly, 2,104 people enjoyed full recovery from the flu-like infection during the same period, taking the total recovery number to 689,173 as of now, the Ministry said in its routine press meet held here today virtually.
