Flood survivors in Manang rescued by helicopters
Manang- Flood survivors in Manang district were rescued with the help of two helicopters on Friday.
Chief District Officer Bishnu Prasad Lamichhane said 118 people were rescued by air from several disasters-hit areas.
Of them, 56 were picked up from Phu are of Narpabhumi rural municipality, 55 from Naso and 10 from Odar.
Survivors of Naso have been shifted to the district headquarters Chame while those from Phu have been managed at Danakyu. Other affected have been shifted to a safer place at Phu itself.
