COVID-19: Country reports 2,442 cases; 51 deaths in past 24 hrs

The country reported a total of 2,442 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 1,421 cases were confirmed through 6,677 RT-PCR tests while 1,021 others through 4,249 antigen tests.

With the latest cases, the total COVID-19 caseload reached 621,056 in the country. Ministry's Spokesperson Dr Krishna Poudel said that 3,456 people got recovered in the past 24 hours.
