Former king Gyanendra pays tribute to unifier of modern Nepal

Kathmandu- Former King Gyanendra Shah today visited the outskirt of main administrative centre Singha Durbar to pay tribute to the late Prithvi Narayan Shah, the unifier of modern Nepal. 

On the occasion of 300th birth anniversary of the unifier of modern Nepal, the ex- king laid a wreath at the late King's statue located at the western entrance to Singha Durbar.  

The supporters of the ex-king who had already gathered at the site for the celebrations of the birth anniversary of the nation builder offered him a warm welcome.
