Self-defence training organised for women, girls

A three-day self-defence training for women and girls has been launched here since Friday on the occasion of the 111th International Women's Day. Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City Main Programme Committee has organised the training. Addressing the inaugural function of the training, Senior Superintendent of Police Kiran Rana said it would be helpful in self-defence if women are physically and mentally active. She called on the women never to think themselves as inferior to males as they are created strong persons.
