Govt to address Tharu grievances through political dialogue: Home Minister

Minister of Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has assured Tharu protesters of resolving issues of Tikapur incident through political dialogue.

Members of the Tharu community have been protesting, putting forward various demands, at Maitighar, Kathmandu, since Sunday.

Minister Thapa reached Maitighar to meet with the protesting leaders of Tharu community Thursday, and said the government was positive about addressing the demands of Tharu community through political mechanism.
