A total of 120 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the country in past 24 hours. According to latest update of the Ministry of Health and Population, these cases were confirmed while conducting PCR tests on 2,891 individuals. Ministry further confirmed that 41 cases were found in Kathmandu valley alone. Meanwhile, the Ministry has recommended to the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center-Operation to intensify health checkup in Nepal-India border points, adding health desk at the Airports, using separate vehicles to reach the infected patients to home isolation, ban public gathering after 9:00 pm and adopting strict health protocols by schools. The Home ministry and education ministry have been urged to monitor whether health protocols have been strictly implemented or not.
