Covid-19 claims two in Hetauda and Birgunj

An elderly person died from corona virus infection in Hetauda of Makawanpur district today. He is a 74-year-old male from Karra, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-4, the sub-metropolis's public health inspector, Bhola Chaulagain, said. The victim was in home isolation after contracting the virus. The risk of spread of coronavirus infection has increased in Hetauda of late as the city adjoins Bara and Parsa districts of the Tarai which have surging number of cases and due to the negligence of the general public in adopting health safety measures.
