Flights to and from Humla affected after snowfall

Simkot-  The flights to and from Simkot airport in Humla district have been disrupted due to rain and snowfall from Thursday. The district headquarters Simkot received continuous rains coupled with snowfall from early morning Thursday.

Similarly, the normal life in the district has been badly affected due in the early days of this winter season. The construction of Hilsa-Simkot road project is also disturbed after the biting cold there, chief of the road project Bisun Das Lama said.

The snowfall has limited people’s mobility from Jang, Halji and Tilgaon villages of Limi to the district headquarters Simkot and other locations.
