The country has recorded a total of 1,831 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, corona virus caseload in the country reached 655,449.
Such number of COVID-19 cases was conformed while conducting 5,535 RT-PCR tests and 3,683 antigen tests.
The Bagmati Province recorded 599 new corona virus cases in past 24 hours, which is the highest number among the seven provinces.
Similarly, altogether 1,533 people got recovered from the virus in last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people getting recovery from the virus reached 619,894.
A total of 20 people succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Likewise, 26,173 people are in home isolation facility while 304 are in institutional isolation.
In the past 24 hours, people from 31-40 years were the highest in number among the infected ones, which stands at 337 followed by 21-30 years with 308 cases.
