Kathmandu- The country has reported an increase in new COVID-19 cases. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, in the past 24 hours, 2,010 new COVID-19 cases were reported, which is an increase by almost 400 compared to Tuesday. A total of 2,398 new infections were reported yesterday.
The latest cases were revealed in 8,108 RT-PCR and 4,916 Antigen tests carried out in various laboratories across the country, said the Ministry. Likewise, 18 people died in the past 24 hours, which was 12 yesterday. The COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 9,430 in the country.
During the same period, 1,606 people recovered. There are still 26,647 active cases in the country.
