National Tiger Survey 2021 launched: Poaching is major challenge in tiger conservation

Chitwan- Minister for Forests and Environment Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav has said poaching has posed major challenge in the conservation of tiger in Nepal.

He said this while addressing the inauguration programme of the National Tiger Survey 2021 here today. 

The Forests and Environment Minister mentioned shrinking tiger habitat, declining prey population and poaching done for tiger bone and hide as the formidable challenges in the conservation of this endangered big cat.
