78 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Sunday

A total of 78 new cases of COVID-19 infections were recorded in the past 24 hours in the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 82 infected ones were discharged after their recovery during the same period. With the recent data, the number of reported active case of the coronavirus is 962 across the country. The Ministry shared that the coronavirus tally in the country reached 274,143 so far. Of the total infected, 270,407 got recovered till February 28. According to the Ministry, one infected patient died of the infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the total deaths caused by the coronavirus infection reached 2,774 in the country.
