71 medical persons, health workers infected with COVID-19 at Bir Hospital

As many as 71 individuals including doctors and other health workers have been infected with the coronavirus pandemic at Bir Hospital.

According to Hospital Director Kedar Senchuri, 71 people including doctors and health workers have tested positive for coronavirus in the last three weeks.

Those infected include doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, cleaners among others, informed Dr Senchuri.

With the surge in coronavirus infection cases among medical persons and other staffers, the outpatient department has been sealed at the hospital.
