1,228 test positive, 6 COVID-19 deaths reported Thursday

A total of 1,228 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 42,877. Similarly, 917 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 24,207.

The government has conducted 13,413 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 731,852 across the country until now.

Nepal has reported six more COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 257.
