Manakamana Temple opened to devotees after about four months

Gorakha- The Manakamana Temple in Gorakha district has been opened to devotees after about four months. The famous goddess shrine of the country was closed since May 6 over the risk of COVID-19.  

Main priest of the temple, Insan Bahadur Thapa said the devotees would be allowed to perform puja at the temple strictly adhering to the health safety protocols determined by the government.

Similarly, another famous religious shrine of the district, the Kalika Temple situated at the Gorakha Durbar precincts has also been opened for the devotees from today.
