Bhaktapur- CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli assured the second meeting of the party's central committee on Sunday had selected the best leadership and thus everyone should accept the decisions made in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting of central committee being held at Bhaktapur, Chairperson Oli urged all the new elected central committee members and politburo members to move ahead, acknowledging party's unification as their mantra. Today's meeting formed an 80-member politburo while 44 people were nominated for central committee members.
The former Prime Minister said, "Unity among us will lead to victory in the coming elections. We also should chant the mantra of unity and we will entrust one with responsibilities."
He shared that altogether 900 names were recommended to him for central committee members. According to him, it was difficult for the new party leadership to select best of the best members for the politburo, according to Oli, over 50 per cent names recommended were deserving ones.
