An oxygen plant has been installed in Thawang of Rolpa district. National Innovation Centre provided the oxygen plant worth nearly 2 million rupees to Thawang Rural Municipality for free.
Centre’s biomedical engineer Umer Rai handed over the plant to Rural Municipality Chairman Bir Bahadur Gharti Magar.
Chairman Gharti Magar said that the mini-plant has been fixed in COVID-19 isolation centre and could generate oxygen even there is no power supply. The plant can generate 65 litres of oxygen in a minute.
