CPN (UML) finalizes candidates for NA member election

Kathmandu- The CPN (UML) has finalized the name of 19 candidates for National Assembly member election scheduled for January 26. 

The decisions taken by the CPN (UML) Secretariat meeting held on Sunday were released today.  The CPN (UML) had made Devraj Ghimire (Jhapa) as the candidate in open category, Sumitra Bhandari (Jhapa) in women category and Sonam Gyaljen Sherpa (Solukhumbu) in marginalised community in Province 1, Asarfi Bhinwar Yadav (Dhanusha) in open category and Bina Sah in women category in Province 2, Gopal Shakya (Lalitpur) in open category and Nir Kumari Kunwar (Niru) Darlami (Sindhuli) in women category in Bagmati Province. 

Similarly, Punya Prasad Poudel (Kaski) has been made candidate in open category, Leela Pokharel Thaney (Nawalpur) in women category and Govinda Bahadur Nepali (Baglung) in Gandaki Province, Ram Dayal Gupta (Dang) in open category, Bharati Khanal (Banke) in women category and Krishna Bahadur Sunar (Gulmi) in Dalit category in Lumbini Province as well as Chudamani Sharma (Surkhet) in open category, Ganga Thapa Mahat (Jumla) in women category and Padam Bahadur Majhi (Dailekh) in marginalized community in Karnali Province.

Dilli Raj Bhatta (Doti) in open category, Santosh Kumari Sharma (Kailali) in women category and Naresh BK (Baitadi) in Dalit category in Sudurpaschim province were finalized for the election.
